Wildcats Play in Post-Season

;

Three teams have earned NEPSAC postseason berths: boys and girls soccer, and field hockey. “That’s quite a feat for any school!” exclaimed Director of Athletics Mark Conroy. Field hockey and boys soccer will play their next meet at home. Here is how post-season play look this week:

Wednesday, November 13

Varsity field hockey earned the No. 4 seed in the NEPSAC Class B tournament and will HOST No. 5 Brooks this coming Wednesday for a 2:15 game on the Galbraith turf. If the girls win, the semi-finals will be on Saturday at the higher seed. The finals are held at The Rivers School on Sunday.

Varsity boys soccer has made the tournament for the second year in a row. The boys earned the No. 4 seed as well and will host No. 5 Rivers on Sawyer Field at 3 p.m. If the boys win, the semi-finals are also on Saturday, and the finals will be held at Loomis Chafee on Sunday.

Varsity girls soccer has made the tournament for the first time in four years. It’s an amazing accomplishment for this team. They will travel to No. 1 Pingree to play a 2 p.m. game on Wednesday.  The semi-finals are also on Saturday and the finals are at Deerfield Academy on Sunday.

Saturday, November 16

The NEPSAC All Star cross country meet will take place at St. Mark’s at 2 and 2:30 p.m.  Thanks to their top 20 finishes at the championship race last Saturday, Abigail Touhey, Anna Richardson, and Nat Markey will represent Williston.

Congratulations and good luck to all you Wildcats!
