Chanel Keenan, Intersectionality Consultant for the Seattle KrakenThe alumni office is honored to to have Bryant McBride ’84 and his esteemed guests discuss the social impact documentary WILLIE which tells the amazing true story of Willie O’Ree overcoming racial barriers and providing a pathway for future athletes of color to thrive in their respective sports. It chronicles his life from his upbringing in Fredericton, New Brunswick, to climbing the professional hockey ladder during the racially turbulent 1960s, to being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2018.
