Ninth Grade Program

Ninth graders have their own social events and grade-focused presentations, and live in dorms together. This academic and social support provides a strong foundation for success at Williston.

Williston’s location in the eclectic arts town of Easthampton places it just a short walk from a host of appealing restaurants and bakeries, renovated mill buildings-turned-studios, bookstores, a rail-trail bicycle path, and more.

Visiting FAQ

  • What will I do on my visit?

    Your visit—including a tour and an interview—will take roughly two hours. When you first arrive, a current student will take you on a tour of campus. When you return, you will interview with a member of the Admission staff. The interview is a great time for us to get to know you and for you to ask us questions about Williston. After that, your parents will also meet with a member of the Admission staff. If there is anyone else you’d like to meet with when you visit (for example, a coach or teacher of a specific subject), please let us know when you book your visit, and we will try to schedule time for it, depending on the teacher or coach’s schedule that day.

  • What should I wear on my visit? Do I need to bring anything with me?

    There is no strict dress code for visiting Williston. While you might want to dress up a bit (i.e., don’t come in sweats and a t-shirt!), you should wear what makes you comfortable. There is no need to bring anything special with you other than a mental list of the questions you want answered on your visit.

  • How do I get to campus and where should I park?

    Our campus is in the located in the heart of western Massachusetts, about 1.5 hours west of Boston. We are easy to get to from Interstate 91 and near many great restaurants and attractions. See our full visitor’s guide for more information, including a map and parking details.

    Our Admission Office is located at 28 Park Street, Easthampton, MA.

  • How do I set up an appointment for the Middle School?

Please note: Williston requires all visitors to wear masks for the duration of your visit, both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, we require all visitors to provide proof of vaccination during their visit to campus. Please email your vaccination or testing information to prior to your visit or be ready to show this document upon arrival to campus. For those who are not vaccinated or not fully vaccinated, a negative PCR test within 72 hours of visit to campus will be required. Williston will not be able to host any visitors on campus without a proof of vaccination or negative testing.
