The Williston Northampton girls basketball program has a proud tradition of success in girls basketball. The team has qualified for the NEPSAC postseason tournament in 10 of the past 14 years. A member of Class B, Williston plays a highly competitive traditional schedule that features a mix of Class A (Deerfield, Hotchkiss, Loomis Chaffee, Taft) and Class B (Berkshire, Cushing, Pomfret, Suffield) opponents. While hard work and sportsmanship have been the hallmarks of the program, five Wildcats have achieved the 1,000 point plateau in school history. Numerous graduates have gone on to play college basketball. Williston’s basketball program fields two teams seeking to provide a quality basketball experience for girls at each level. We are fortunate to play in one of the premier facilities in New England.

Varsity girls basketball battled their hearts out but came up short to a very good Kent team 48-35. Freshman Skyler Walker led the way again with 19 followed by junior point guard Meghan Carey who had 6 on two threes. The Wildcats have nothing to hand their heads about after this gritty competitive season ending performance.
Varsity girls basketball won an overtime thriller at Miss Porters 54-49. The Wildcats were led by Skyler Walker (27), Margaret Edwards (18) and Anna Sawyer (7). It was a tremendous team win!
Varsity girls basketball traveled to Cheshire where they won a hard fought 53-46 game vs the hometown Wildcats. Skyler Walker led the way for Williston with a game high 22 followed by Margaret Edwards who had 13, Kristen Trembley had 5 and Elle Ash had a big 3 to inspire her teammates. A great team win!
Varsity girls basketball took on a talented Taft team today and gave them all they could handle before falling 50-36. The Wildcats were led by Skyler Walker with 17 followed by Margaret Edwards with 10. Despite the loss, the girls played their hearts out.
Varsity girls basketball traveled to Pomfret where they defeated the hometown Griffins 46-28. Margaret Edwards led the way with 15 followed by Skyler Walker with 9 and Megan Dulude and Kristen Trembley with 6 apiece. Big shoutout to Maddy Klumpp and Gemma Polino who provided strong contributions!!!
Varsity girls basketball dropped its game at home to a very good Hotchkiss team 55-36. Freshman Skyler Walker had a strong game with 20 points followed by Kristen Trembley scoring 7.
Varsity girls basketball earned a hard fought win over visiting Deerfield today 53-45. Meghan Carey had a season high 17 while freshman Skyer Walker had 14, Kristen Trembley had 9 and Morgan Dulude had 8. A terrific team win!
Varsity girls basketball traveled to Cushing today where it battled for four quarters before falling 51-41. Megan Carey '24 had 11, Kristen Trembley '23 and Skyler Walker '26 had 7 each and captain Anna Sawyer '24 had 6. Overall, it was a great team effort.
Varsity girls basketball hosted Suffield and battled for four quarters only to come up short 46-42. It was a great team defensive effort. Freshman Skyler Walker had a terrific game with a career high 23 while Morgan Dulude '26 chipped in with 9.
Varsity girls basketball earned a hard fought gritty 43-32 win over rival Berkshire in the morning tilt of the Ray Brown Tournament. Kristen Trembley led the way in scoring with 14 followed by Skyler Walker with 9, Morgan Dulude and Megan Carey with 7 and Anna Sawyer with 6. A terrific team win!
Williston and St. Mark's faced off for the second team this season in the finale of the Ray Brown Holiday Tournament. As seems to always be the case, the game would prove to be a hard fought affair with both teams taking turns in front. In this one today, the Lions finished with the upper hand making some clutch plays late to win 45-38. Freshman Skyler Walker scored a career high 20 to lead the Wildcats followed by Kristen Trembley with 9 and Megan Carey with 7. Skyler was named to the All Tournament team.
Varsity girls basketball traveled to Suffield where it battled the hometown Tigers for four quarters but came up on the short end 43-29. High scorers for the Wildcats were Skyler Walker (10), Margaret Edwards (10) and Kristen Trembley (7). Great defensive efforts by Kristen and Morgan Dulude. A tough loss but a strong effort!
