Bio:
My path to the classroom began at Saint Michael’s College, where I attended on a full basketball scholarship, scored more than 1,000 career points, and earned a degree in Psychology. After college, I moved to Manhattan to work in recruiting for the finance and technology industries before eventually realizing my true passion in education.

I returned to graduate school at Elms College and began teaching Special Education in middle school. My love of basketball led me to coaching at Wilbraham & Monson Academy, where I spent ten years and fell in love with the independent school life before joining the Williston Northampton School.

At Williston, I have taught AP Literature, Behavioral Psychology, Social Psychology, Child Development, as well as 7th and 8th grade English. I now happily call Whitaker Bement Middle School home while coaching the girls varsity basketball team. Outside of school, I live with my husband, Andrew, daughters, Fiona (’32) and Anna, and my beloved pups, Jaxon and Edward.

Education:
B.A., Psychology, Saint Michael’s College, Winooski Park, VT; MAT, Elms College, Chicopee, MA

Fun fact:
I go by JROH and have a mustache tattoo.
