Arts Concentration

Pursuing their Passion

Williston students who are deeply committed to the arts may elect to pursue an Arts Concentration. Students in all arts disciplines work with arts-faculty mentors to establish individual programs of study that combine extracurricular, afternoon/evening, and sometimes summer involvement with academic classes at varying levels of proficiency including completion of a self-directed project executed during a Williston Scholars course.

The Arts Concentration distinction is indicated on school transcripts when applying to colleges and is an excellent way to emphasize to colleges a student’s serious commitment to the arts.

Students who complete the Arts Concentration may or may not be art-school applicants or arts-career bound.
