Varsity football enjoyed a huge 26-6 win at Suffield on beautiful Saturday night. Up 9-6 at the half, Williston shut out the Tigers in the second half and added 17 points of their own. Shane Bussard and Rowan Martin led the defense with 5 tackles apiece. James Elliott caught two touchdown passes from Davi McDonald and Tariq Thomas added one on the ground.

The Wildcats won in a shootout Saturday night with a 64-49 win over BBN. The Wildcats finished the game on a 27-0 run. The offense scored on 10/11 drives. Davi McDonald was 17-22 passing for 424 yards and 5 TDs and also ran for 1 TD. Tariq Thomas led the way on the ground with 170 Yards for 3 TDs and also had 3 catches for 64 yards and a TD. James Elliott had 8 catches for 141 yards and 2 TDs and Colin Larson had 4 catches for 193 yards and 2 TDs. Defensively Max Depatie had 12 Tackles, Malik Diaby had 11 tackles, and Jacob Waah had 11 tackles. Ricardo Nieves, Ryan DeMarco, and James Elliott all had interceptions.

The Wildcats won a big one Saturday night over Salisbury 37-20. Down 20-17 at half, the Wildcats showed great resilience and came out flying in the third quarter. Tariq Thomas led the way on the ground with 24 carries for 138 yards and 3 TDs. James Elliott had 3 catches for 86 yards and a TD and Colin Larson had 5 catches for 40 yards. The defense came up big in the second half with a shutout. Jacob Waah led the way with 8 tackles, Shane Bussard with 7, Malik Diaby with 6 and Rylan Shibley with 6. Hudson Fulcher-Melendy had 3 FGs (46, 40, and 36 yards). A great team road win on a tough weather night!

Varsity football traveled up to Phillips Andover to earn a convincing 57-28 win over the Big Blue. Both teams waged a see saw battle in the first half with the Wildcats scoring at will and Andover staying close with several scores of their own. Junior QB Davi McDonald had a terrific day going 23/28 for 315 and 6 TDs! Captain James Elliott took turns playing QB and WR. At QB, he was a perfect 6 for 6 for 51 and a TD while he caught 9 for 79 yards and 3 TDs. Fellow senior Colin Larson had 9 catches for 138 and a TD while also rushing for 38 yards an another TD. Sophomore Nate Ellis led the team in rushing with 95 yards while catching 4 passes for 81 yards and 2 touchdowns. Defensively, Max Depatie and Luke Lockbaum both led the team with 7 tackles. Depatie also had a forced fumble and fumble recovery. The Wildcats return home to take on Hotchkiss this next Saturday at 3:30 on Sawyer Field.
