Visiting Artists
Throughout the year, Williston brings in visiting artists to share their expertise in our academic and campus life programs. In the last few years alone, we’ve had dozens, including street arts practitioners, ceramicists, YA authors, Random House editors, Grammy-winning musicians, social media artists, and sports photographers.

The Grum Project
Funded by a generous Northampton School for Girls alumna, The Grum Project brings musicians, actors, visual artists, dancers, and more for mini-residencies, ensuring the entire Williston community can participate in the creative process firsthand.
Grubbs Gallery
Williston’s on-campus art gallery showcases the work of students, faculty, and visiting artists. It is located in the Reed Campus Center.
Photographers' Lecture Series
Each year, an outstanding group of guest documentary photographers, photojournalists, commercial photographers, photo editors, and others involved in the field, visit the Williston Northampton campus to show examples of their work and offer insight and opportunity for discussion as part of the school’s Photographers’ Lecture Series.

Writers' Workshop
For more than two decades, the Writers’ Workshop Series has brought acclaimed authors to campus to present to the public, and to do an intensive workshop session with students in Writers’ Workshop classes.
