The Wildcats hosted Andover for the 15th Annual Pink in the Rink game. It was terrific to acknowledge the survivors in our community before the game. The Wildcats played a great first period outshooting Andover 9-2 but it finished scoreless. In the second period, the teams exchanged penalties but both teams stood tall on the kill. The Wildcats outshot Andover 8-5 in the second. In the third period, both teams played well and Andover scored the game winner with 2 minutes to go on a great individual effort. The Wildcats pressed in the remainder of the period but couldn’t get the equalizer. The Wildcats played a strong game overall and hope to bounce back on Wednesday vs. Worcester Academy. A huge thank you to everyone for their support.

The Wildcats traveled to Choate for the first game in the final stretch of the season. Monique Lyons '24 got us on the board first when she put in a rebound from a shot from Violet Carroll '26 from the point. The Wildcats doubled the score on the power play in the second period when Riley Stocker '27 fed Caroline Aufiero '24 at the point and the shot went bar down! In the third, the Wildcats cashed in on the power play again when Lyons '24 took a shot from the point and Zola Piekarski '26 tapped in the rebound. The Wildcats played a much better third period and shut down the Choate offense. Liv Ferebee '25 played very well in the net making 20 saves. The Wildcats are now 15-1-1 and return to action on Saturday for our 15 annual Pink in the rink game.

The Wildcats took the road to Hotchkiss and earned a 5-0 win after outshooting them 49-10. The Wildcats were led by Monique Lyons ‘24, who had two goals and three assists. Lyons cashed in on the power play when she got the puck from Violet Carroll ‘25. Lyons took a low shot to score in the first period. In the second period, Brooke Schlutter ‘27 passed the puck to Camille Armaganian’24 in the defensive zone, then she chipped the puck to Lyons. They went in on a 2v1 and Lyons passed the puck to Armaganian, who brought it in and shot the puck five hole to take the lead 2-0. A minute later, Lyons got the puck right off the draw and walked middle and shot it. It deflected off the other teams stick and went top corner to extend the lead 3-0. In the third period, the fourth goal was scored when Lyons got the puck on the wall walked to the middle and shot it, Carroll dug it out and got the rebound in front. In the third, a shot came through from the slot and Nora Curtis ‘25 found the puck that squeaked out and tapped it in. Goaltenders Liv Ferebee ‘25 played the first two periods and a few minutes of the third, and River Grady ‘ 27 played the remainder. They combined for the shutout. The Wildcats return to action on Wednesday at home vs Taft.

The Wildcats hit the road for a highly anticipated rematch from the holiday tournament. The Wildcats cashed in on two power play chances late in the first period. The first came off a 5v3 when Monique Lyons ‘24 got the puck at the blue line on the power play from Violet Carroll ‘25 and Lyons walked in and shot low blocker to score! Then on the 5v4 Carroll dumped it low to Zola Piekarski ‘26, who tapped it to Curtis, who drove across the bottom of the circle and went high blocker. Lyons exploited the Westminster power play late in the first when she got the puck in the corner cycled it to Curtis for a give and goal and one timed it post and in. The Wildcats finished the first with a 3-0 lead. Westy scored early in the second period to make it 3-1 off a scrum in front and took control of the momentum for a few minutes putting the Wildcats on our heels. On the third goal Zola passed it back door and one touched it over the goalie's pad. With four minute to go, on the penalty kill, Camille Armaganian ‘24 and Lyons did a great job picking off a Westy pass to create an odd man rush. Armaganian passed to Lyons, she got tied up center ice and Armaganian took the puck and scored! The Wildcats played a strong period denying the six chances attempted by Westy. Lyons earned her hat trick when Piekarski passed it back door to Lyons and she one touched it over the goalies pad to make it 5-1! River Grady ‘27 was outstanding in the net, challenging shooters, playing the puck and holding her ground with confidence all game long! The Wildcats travel to Hotchkiss on Saturday for an early afternoon game.

The Wildcats hosted Kent for a highly anticipated matchup. The Wildcats would get on the board first when Mia Daley ‘27 put home a rebound four minutes into the game. Monique Lyons ‘24 and Nora Curtis ‘25 assisted on the play. Kent tied the game converting on a Power Play at 6:55 of the first period. Brenna Ziter ‘26 made it 2-1 when she angled on the forecheck and created a turnover then made a nifty move around a Kent defensemen to get alone with the goalie. She shot top right to beat the goalie. In the second period, Kent scored two minutes in to tie the game. Emily Hamann ‘24 had a great back check and picked up the puck in the neutral zone and went in on a 2v1 with Riley Stocker ‘27, they exchanged the puck and Stocker redirected it in to give the Wildcats the lead. Later In the second, on the power play Mia Daley shot the puck then Zola Piekarski ’26 passed it back door to Monique for the 4th goal. In the third, Stocker tallies her second of the game and extended the lead to 5-2 when put she in a rebound from a shot by Nina Coffee '26. Liv Ferebee '25 played strong in the net to earn the win. The Wildcats played hard, smart and together against a strong Kent team. Wildcats return to action on Wednesday at Westminster.

The Wildcats returned home to play Dexter Southfield on a cold evening. The Wildcats got off to a quick start when Monique Lyons '24 forechecked hard and got the puck to Mia Daley '27, who buried it home. Zola Piekarski '26 tipped in a rebound from a pass from Daley '27 on the power play later in the period. Violet Carroll '25 also assisted on the play. Monique Lyons then grabbed a puck on the wall in the third, walked out and took a great shot to beat the goalie glove side to make it 3-0. The Wildcats got into some penalty trouble and Southfield cashed in on a 5v3. Liv Ferebee '25 made some exceptional saves during this flurry of activity and put all the second chances back into the corner. Her play along with a strong effort defensively allowed the Wildcats to preserve the win. The Wildcats will host Kent on Saturday at 4pm.

The Wildcats traveled to Gunnery and saw scoring from 6 different players in the 10-1 win. Nora Curtis '25 scored a hat trick. Malaya Anaba '25 had her first goal as a Wildcat. The biggest highlight was Monique Lyons '24 got her 123rd and 124th career point, which breaks the school record for most points. This was a 34 year old record and Monique has done this in two and a half years! River Grady '27 earned the win in the net for the Wildcats.

Williston traveled to Berkshire for a late afternoon tilt. Monique Lyons ‘24 broke open the scoring when she passed to Nora Curtis ‘25 as they entered the zone entry, she then passed it to Mia Daley ‘27 for a shot and Lyons crashed the net for the rebound. Daley would score three minutes later when she put in a shot from Curtis. Lyons would get the third with one second to go in the first when she came off the bench and picked off a pass and went around 2 players and put it just under the goalie's blocker. Lyons third goal came off a faceoff when Curtis poked it through and Lyons sniped the back bar of the net. Berkshire would score off a rush to make it 4-1 half way through the second. For the fifth goal, Daley entered the zone and cut in to shoot and Lyons drove for the rebound and Curtis finished the final rebound in the scrum in front of the net. Berkshire capitalized on a power play less than a minute later to make it 5-2. The Wildcats would score three goals in the third. Lyons 4th goal came off a great individual effort, where she grabbed the puck behind the net and scored on a wrap around. The seventh goal came when the puck bounced out to Alyssa Frazier ‘25 at the blue line and she walked to the middle and took a shot. The rebound bounced out to the opposite side and Zola Piekarski ‘26 hit it in. For the last goal, Mia Daley lifted the defender's stick at our blue line and it was a one v one and she went to her backhand and scored under her blocker. Liv Ferebee '25 and River Grady '27 combined for the win. The Wildcats will head to Gunnery for a 1:30pm game on Saturday.

The Wildcats took a long road trip to Tabor to play the Seawolves. The Wildcats got off to a quick start getting on the board when Zola Piekarski ‘26 passed to Catie Putt ‘26, who took a great shot from the point and buried it. About five minutes later, Nina Coffee ‘26 chipped it off the boards to Brenna Ziter on the breakout, then she skated up the wall and put it under the triangle of the d on a 1 on 1, then brought it to the other side of the net and tucked it in behind the goalie. Liv Ferebee ‘25 made five saves in the first. In the second, Mia Daley ‘27 put in a shot on the goalie after receiving the puck from Nora Curtis ‘25 in the slot. Monique Lyons ‘24 assisted on the play. The Wildcats took three penalties in a row resulting in a 5v3, which Tabor took advantage of to make it 3-1. Ferebee was outstanding during the kill as were a number of players. In the 3rd, the Wildcats came out looking to seal the win. The Wildcats scored their 4th goal when Nora Curtis ‘25 won the puck in the corner and fed Monique Lyons ‘24 out front for a one timer and it went post and in! Four minutes later, Violet Carroll ‘25 stepped over the blue line and took the puck from one of the Tabor players as they were changing. She went down on a one on one and shot five hole to score! Three minutes later, Curtis picked the puck up in the corner and skated up the boards then cut in and passed it down to Lyons in the corner for a give and go one timer low blocker. In the last two minutes, Emily Hamann ‘24 put in a rebound from a shot from Riley Stocker. Brenna Ziter ‘26 assisted on the play as well. The Wildcats win 7-1 and Liv made 13 saves on the day. The Wildcats travel to Berkshire on Wednesday.

The Wildcats opened the new year playing Groton at home. The Wildcats played a good first period and got on the board first when Brenna Ziter '26 put in a rebound from a shot from Emily Hamann '24. Strong forechecking from Riley Stocker gave her the other assist on the play. Groton capitalized on a power play about a minute later on a nice tip play. Groton took the lead in the second period with five minutes to go. The Wildcats tied the game with 9 seconds to go when Camille Armaganian '22 redirected a pass from Emily Hamann '24. Nina Coffee assisted on the play. The Wildcats got into penalty trouble in the second period and saw strong killing from a number of players. The Wildcats regrouped and played their best period. While the Wildcats peppered the Groton goalie all game long, she saw more rubber in the third. Monique Lyons '24 buried a breakaway with 1:11 to go to seal the win. The Wildcats will travel to Tabor on Saturday for another big game.

The Wildcats played in the third place game on Sunday of the Harrington Tournament vs. Westminster. The Wildcats opened the scoring at the end of the period when Emily Hamann '24 put in a rebound on the side of the net from Brenna Ziter '26. Westminster would score the equalizer on a breakaway when the Wildcats were playing too offensively a few minutes into the second period. Violet Carroll '25 gave the Wildcats the lead when she walked through three Westminster players and beat the goalie before the end of the second period. Westminster converted on a power play with less than 5 minutes to go and the game would go to OT then a shoot out. Zola Pierkarski '26 scored to help us earn 3rd place in the tournament. The Wildcats will now go on break until the new year!

The Wildcats came ready to play after a tough morning game. Nora Curtis '25 got us on the board first after a nice exchange between Mia Daley '27 and Monique Lyons '24. Just two minutes later, Daley '27 scored a great goal off the faceoff giving the Wildcats a 2-0 lead after the first. In the second period, the Wildcats would get another goal from Curtis and Lyons. Liv Ferebee '25 stopped all the shots she saw in the first two periods and River Grady '27 played the third period. The Wildcats went on to score three more in the third. Curtis tallied her third for her first career hat trick. Camille Armaganian '24 scored one from Violet Carroll '25 and Lyons tallied her second of the game from Curtis at the 10 minute mark. Grady and Ferebee combine for the shutout. The Wildcats look to build on this momentum as we take on Westminster tomorrow in the 3rd place game.

The Wildcats got a slow start against St. Paul's and they struck first scoring off a faceoff late in the first period. The Wildcats played a better second period and Mia Daley '18 but in a rebound just before the end of the period to tie the game. In the third period, the Wildcats pressed hard but St. Paul's got a breakaway and scored to make it 2-1. In the final minute and a half, the Wildcats pulled the goalie for the extra attacker and St. Paul's sealed the win with an empty net goal. The Wildcats look to rebound against Milton Academy tonight.

The Wildcats traveled to Dedham for the first day of the Harrington tournament to play BB&N. BB&N came out flying in the first period and caught the Wildcats by surprise. Although the Wildcats would strike first when Emily Hamann '24 put in a rebound off a scrum in front of the net. Riley Stocker assisted on the goal. The Wildcats would extend the lead to 2-0 when Nora Curtis '25 buried a pass on the power play from Monique Lyons '24. Violet Carroll '25 assisted on the play. BB&N scored about seven minutes later cashing in on their power play chance. In the third, the Wildcats probably played their best period of the day. Curtis converted on another power play opportunity to seal the win. Lyons and Carroll assisted on the play again. In the remaining two minutes, BB&N pulled their goalie and made it 6x4 but the veteran Wildcats played smart and denied them of any substantial opportunities. Liv Ferebee '25 earned the win in the net for the Wildcats. We head to Milton tomorrow to play St. Paul's at 10:30am and Milton at 4:30pm.

Wildcats hosted Hoosac for a Friday night tilt. The Wildcats got scoring from different players and strong goaltending from River Grady '27 who earned her first shutout as a Wildcats. Kudos to Brooke Schlutter '27 for scoring her first goal as a Wildcat as well. The Wildcats will host Northwood tomorrow for a scrimmage.

The Wildcats traveled to Cushing for their first road trip of the year. The Wildcats opened the scoring in the opening two minutes when Brooke Schlutter '23 make a great pass to Zola Piekarski '25 across the ice, Zola took a few steps inside the dots and took a beautiful shot over the goalie's far pad. Camille Armaganian '24 assisted on the play as well. Half way through the first, Caroline Aufiero '24 scored from the point after a nice exchange between her and Mia Daley '27. Nora Curtis '25 also assisted on the play. At the end of the first, Cushing converted on a power play to make it 2-1. the Wildcats scored three goals in the second to lengthen the lead. Monique Lyons '24 redirected a shot from Aufiero to make it 3-1. Armaganian tipped a pass from Schlutter to extend the lead. The fifth goal was a power play goal that started with Piekarski skating the puck around the net and finding Violet Carroll '25 at the top of the zone, who dropped it to Nora Curtis '25, who rifled it past the goalie. Carroll would net the final goal on a great individual effort that originated from the point and she walked through three defenders then made a nice move to beat the goalie. Liv Ferebee '25 and River Grady '27 combined for the win in the net. Kudos to River on stopping all the pucks she saw in the third period. We return to action at home on Friday against Hoosac.

The Wildcats opened the season with a strong effort against a tough St. Paul's team. The Wildcats created some good momentum in the first period by forechecking hard and testing the SPS goalie but couldn't get one through. In the second period, the Wildcats scored three goals in about two and a half minutes. The first goal came off a strong forechecking effort by Brooke Schlutter '27, who found Camille Armaganian '24 in front of the net. Less than a minute later, Riley Stocker '27 put in a rebound off a shot from Monique Lyons '24. Mia Daley '27 assisted on the play as well. A minutes and a half later, Brenna Ziter '26 put in a rebound. Emily Hamann '24 and Catie Putt '26 assisted on the play. The Wildcats attacked the third period with a purpose. Lyons put one in after a nice pass from Daley at the 14 minute mark. SPS would score a minute later to make it 4-1. The Wildcats played strong in the remainder of the game to seal the first win of the season. Liv Ferebee '25 made some excellent saves on the day to earn her first win of the year. The Wildcats will head to Cushing Academy next Wednesday for their first road trip!
