In 2003, Williston became one of the first schools in New England to offer girls golf as a varsity sport. The program fields both varsity and junior varsity teams that are staffed with coaches dedicated to helping players develop all aspects of their games. The varsity team plays a full schedule of matches against many of the top prep school golf programs including Choate, Loomis Chaffee, Hotchkiss, and Westminster. The varsity team’s home course is Southampton Country Club in nearby Southampton while the junior varsity plays at the East Mountain Country Club in Westfield. Both courses are 18 holes, and provide our players with putting and other practice areas. Over the last several seasons the varsity team has enjoyed a high level of success in competition setting program records for the most wins in a season numerous times. In addition to its winning tradition, the program takes great pride in representing Williston with the highest ideals of sportsmanship and integrity. Graduates have gone on to compete at Amherst, Holy Cross, Dickinson, and Elmira.
