The Williston Northampton School has a long and proud tradition in the sport of tennis dating back to its inception in 1910! Williston’s tennis program fields two to three levels of play seeking to provide a quality tennis experience for every boy in the program. The program is fortunate to enjoy playing on one of the finest tennis facilities in all of New England with 12 hard courts located at Galbraith Fields with the breathtaking Mt. Tom as a backdrop to the facility. Playing a very competitive schedule that includes traditional rivals Suffield, Berkshire, Pomfret, Deerfield, NMH and Westminster, the team has been fortunate to enjoy a number of winning seasons in the past ten years. The values of sportsmanship and teamwork are of upmost importance to the program.

Varsity tennis dropped a competitive match at home to WMA today 6-1. The highlight of the match was a thrilling tiebreak win by Nico Fonseca with both teams hanging on every point! The Wildcats will look to bounce back tomorrow at WMA!.
Varsity boys tennis lost a heartbreaker to Suffield today 4-3. The match came down to Jefu Lee who fought through fatigue and cramping in one of the closest nailbiters of the season. He earned the game ball for his valiant effort and leadership.
Boys varsity tennis fell to an exceptional Loomis team today 7-0. Daniel Zhang put up a fight at #6 singles losing 7-6 in the second set. Williston looks forward to a shot at Westminster on Friday.
Boys’ Varsity Tennis fell to a strong NMH squad today 8-1. Est Sukcharoenyingyong and Daniel Zhang picked up a win at #3 doubles and Zach Pincus earned the game ball for his first ever start at #2 doubles and dominant performance in an exhibition singles match. After the long weekend, Williston looks forward to a Wednesday meeting against Loomis.
Williston boys tennis played its best tennis of the season thus far clinching a 4-3 victory over a talented Berkshire team. Nico Fonseca and Jackson Miller, our two newest teammates, earned the game ball for their success at both singles and doubles today. Berkshire and Williston both demonstrated noteworthy sportsmanship up and down the ladder. It was a great day to be a Wildcat.
Boys tennis lost a nail biter to Millbrook 4-3. Jack Wise earned the game ball for his comeback win at #2 singles after being down 5-0 in the first set. The Wildcats are 2-2 on the season and look forward to Wednesdays’ match with Berkshire.
Varsity boys tennis fell to Pomfret this afternoon 6-1. Daniel Zhang earned the game ball for securing a win at #6 singles and adding another dominant doubles victory at #3 Doubles with partner Est Sukcharoenyingyong.
Boys tennis traveled down to Washington, CT where it defeated the Frederick Gunn School 4-2 in the waning evening light! Captain Jack Wise and Dyson Haaland shared the game ball. Jack earned a come from behind victory at #2 that set the tone for the victory while Dyson had a beautiful 8-2 win at #6. A great team win!
Boys tennis won its opener at home in an exciting 4-3 match over Cheshire Academy. Est Sukcharoenyingyong had the most exciting win of the day. After splitting sets he won a tiebreaker 10-8.
