Paul Stockwell '79

Under soccer coach Ray Brown’s tutelage, Paul Stockwell would go on to enjoy a tremendous three-year career, captaining the team as a senior and earning both WNEPSSA Select Team and All New England honors each year. Instrumental in helping his teams win two Stewart Cup championships, as a junior Stockwell was named the fourth All American in school history. Stockwell finished his soccer career with 21 goals and 21 assists, one of the top assist marks in Williston soccer history. He was also a terrific lacrosse player, captaining the team as a senior and winning team MVP. He set a school record his junior year with 26 assists. After graduating from Williston, Paul attended the University of South Carolina to play soccer. Unfortunately, his career was cut short by an injury. Stockwell settled in eastern Massachusetts with his wife, JoAnn, and their family.
