The Project: Depth

The Essential Question: My investigation is to make connections between the arts by exploring different geographical features and textural variations. I am interested in the impact of different brushes and painting techniques on a painting. My paintings are divided into two main directions: realistic painting and experimenting with abstract painting with texture. In the realistic style, I usually spend a lot of time perfecting details and carefully painting details. In textural experiments, I channel different textures by painting abstractly, starting with thickness and speed.
