The Daniel and Jane Carpenter Award was established in 2006 by Daniel M. Cain ’64 in honor of the late Daniel and Jane Carpenter and their commitment to, and support of, The Williston Northampton School, its students, parents and alumni. This award is given to an alumna or alumnus who through “effort and energy” as well as financial contribution, has had a substantial impact on the school.
Having enjoyed careers in advertising and real estate sales, Claire Hardon now considers herself a professional volunteer. In addition to serving on Williston’s BOT, Claire is an active and passionate volunteer at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she serves on the Foundation Board, Women’s Committee and volunteers in the surgery waiting room. Her focus in fund raising at CHOP is for research and community impact programs that serve our needy communities. Claire is a graduate of Denison University, class of 1983, and enjoys golf, tennis and spending time with her husband Clay, from the Williston Northampton class of 1978 and three grown children.
