Williston Students Earn Model UN Success

;

More than 550 students from more than 40 schools participated in Phillips Exeter Academy’s Model UN on November 4. Williston Northampton School sent 17 students, who participated in debates in nine committees on topics as diverse as modern-day pirates, 9/11, and the two China problem of 1950.

“It’s amazing to have an event and a program that provides an opportunity for so many students to meet and interact in this way,” said History and Global Studies teacher Andrew Syfu, who has worked with Williston’s team for the last four years. Reilly Gluz ’19 earned Best Delegate and Abby Dennin ’20 secured an Outstanding Delegate designation. Congratulations, Wildcat debaters!
