Williston Northampton School held its third college athletic signing ceremony of the 2025–26 academic year on May 22, recognizing seven seniors for their choices as they prepare to graduate from the school.

The ceremony comes after eight seniors were celebrated the fall and 18 were feted in the winter.

“Each student-athlete we honor today represents the qualities we value most in athletics: dedication, resilience, leadership, and a commitment to growth both on and off the field,” said Jade Morris, Director of Athletics, during the ceremony on Friday. “Competing in college is about far more than talent. It reflects years of hard work, sacrifice, perseverance, and love for the game.”

Of the six recognized in the spring, two signed to play hockey, two for soccer, one for cross-country and track, and one for basketball.

Good afternoon, and welcome to our Spring College Commitment Ceremony. My name is Jade Morris, and I have the privilege of serving as the Director of Athletics here at Williston.

Today, we celebrate a special group of seniors who have committed to continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level.

Each student-athlete we honor today represents the qualities we value most in athletics: dedication, resilience, leadership, and a commitment to growth both on and off the field. Competing in college is about far more than talent. It reflects years of hard work, sacrifice, perseverance, and love for the game.

To our seniors, this moment belongs to you, but it is also a reflection of the people who supported you along the way. Thank you to the families, coaches, teammates, teachers, and friends who helped make this achievement possible.

This afternoon, we will recognize each student-athlete individually. When your name is called, please come forward to sign, followed by a photo with your family, coaches, and teammates.

Sebastian Fonseca is a four-year student from Miami, Florida. Next year Sebastian will be playing soccer at Union College. Congratulations, Sebastian.

Declan Grenache is a three-year student from Sutton, Massachusetts. Next year, Declan will be playing hockey at Babson College. Congratulations, Declan.

Hayden Hutner is a two-year student from Wesley Chapel, Florida. Next year, Hayden will be playing hockey at Babson College. Congratulations, Hayden.

Colby Hurlock is a one-year student from West Hartford, Connecticut. Next year, Colby will be playing basketball at Roger Williams University. Congratulations, Colby.

Barrett Clark is a two-year student from Canada. Next year, Barrett will be playing lacrosse at Springfield College. Congratulations, Barrett!
