Five Scholar-Athletes Sign to Play College Sports

Williston Northampton School honored five scholar-athletes in a ceremony at the Sabina Cain Family Athletic Center on Monday, November 15. The five seniors are heading to programs across the Northeast to continue following their passion for athletics.

Jules Constantinople of East Haven, Connecticut, is headed to play ice hockey for Northeastern University Huskies, a Hockey East conference team. Constantinople is a three-sport athlete and was named to the All-NEPSAC team on defense in hockey as a sophomore.

Sophie Jones of Westfield, Massachusetts, will play hockey for the RPI Engineers, an NCAA Division 1 program. Jones has been a three-sport varsity athlete with the Wildcats for the last five years.

Cora Webber, a post-graduate from Johnston, Rhode Island, heads to the University of Maine to play ice hockey for the Hockey East conference Black Bears. Webber has been a multi-sport athlete during her five years at Williston.

Easthampton, Massachusetts-based Selena Negron will continue her soccer career at Bryant University, playing for the D1 Bulldogs. Negron is a two-sport athlete at Williston, also playing basketball. She has been a four-year starter in both sports.

Ava Larkin of Northampton, Massachusetts, will swim for the Division 1 Providence College Friars. Larkin is a five-time NEPSAC swimming champion and holds Williston school records in the 200 IM, 100 breaststroke, and three relays.
