Artist, illustrator, and all-around creative whiz Keely Quirk ’13 says that her work focuses on “bringing a touch of truth and tenderness wherever I can.” We love that perspective—and recently asked Quirk to tell us what she’s up to using her own delightful artwork and words below.

What are you up to these days?
For the past few years I’ve been working up the hill at Snow Farm: The New England Craft Program in marketing/development. Snow Farm is like craft summer camp for adults!
What is your favorite recent project?
Sewing a plush bunny doll for my goddaughter.
What is a happy moment you remember from Williston?
Sitting in the sun outside Reed during Willy Gras, eating a snow cone and listening to One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” over the speakers.
What do you like to do for fun?
I recently started attending an adult basics ballet class—my first time dancing again since college!
What things have inspired you lately?
Discovering new music, browsing at the thrift/vintage store, and making fancy mocktails!
What would your dream trip/vacation be?
Anywhere with a porch where I can sit all day with a coffee and a good book.
What was your favorite place at Williston?
The booths at the Stu-Bop. Many Twizzlers were eaten there on my free period.
What is your favorite animal?
The bleeding heart dove—it’s not hurt, it just looks like that!
If you could learn anything, instantly, what would it be?
The piano.
