Introducing our Athletes of the Week program! Each week, Williston coaches nominate one student-athlete from their team who stood out by demonstrating our core values of purpose, passion, and integrity. These athletes show exceptional dedication, leadership, and sportsmanship, both on and off the field, embodying what it means to be a Williston Wildcat. Read below for more information on each of the Athletes of the Week.
Connor Graff ’26 – Varsity Baseball
Connor Graff has been a standout performer and consistent presence for varsity baseball this season. Most recently, he delivered an exceptional performance on the mound against The Frederick Gunn School, pitching four innings, allowing zero earned runs, and recording ten strikeouts in just his second regular season start.
Beyond his performance, Connor has demonstrated high energy, positivity, and presence both on and off the field. He brings a steady and competitive mindset to each game and practice, helping to set the tone for his teammates.
Connor’s commitment to the program has been evident in his consistency and approach. He shows up prepared, competes at a high level, and continues to embrace coaching and development. Earlier in the week against WMA, he contributed offensively with quality at-bats and impactful contact, further highlighting his all-around value to the team.
Connor has quickly established himself as a reliable and impactful contributor, and his performance and attitude make him a key part of the program.
Andrew Doubleday ’29 – Boys JV Lacrosse
In the season opener, Andrew was rock solid in net as the team beat Eaglebrook 7-4. In the first three weeks of the season, he has worked hard and proven himself a true leader on the field. During the game, he made several key saves — including a few on the doorstep — that staved off a late-game rally and helped preserve the win for the ‘Cats. We look forward to seeing Andrew continue to progress this season as he works on his craft and develops as a key member of the team.
Clara d’Amuri ’27 – Girls Varsity Lacrosse
Clara d’Amuri has had an excellent start to the 2026 season. Playing the majority of each game as a midfielder, she gives Williston a tremendous boost on the draw. Critical to earning the team possession, the draw has a significant impact on the game, and through five games, Clara is winning 74% of her draws (48 draw wins in 65 attempts). Last week in games against Miss Porter’s and Berkshire she continued this strong start, winning 18/28 draws to help give the team critical possession time. While her work in this phase of the game has been impressive, Clara is also a standout defender and a critical member of the wildcat’s offense. In their two games last week, she had a goal and an assist, and she has six goals and two assists on the season. Clara has impacted every phase of the game so far this season, and she is poised for a great second half of the season.
Oliver Murray ’29 – Boys JV Tennis
Oliver Murray is the AOW for the Boys Tennis Team.
He exhibits a joy at practice that is uplifting. He approaches practice with purpose and focus maximizing his opportunities to improve his game. This last Saturday versus Loomis, Oliver teamed up with Siu at doubles #2 in an exciting match. After facing and holding several match points, they prevailed 10-8 in the tie-break.
Blue Meyerson ’26 – Girls’ Varsity Tennis
Blue went 3-0 in her matches last week, notching two wins at #4 singles vs. Cushing and one win at #3 singles vs. WMA. Her impressive consistent and incredible movement pushed her through difficult conditions in all three matches, but particularly in a windy win at Cushing over the weekend. Blue’s wins helped secure the team three victories last week. Her leadership on the team continues to be exceptional, as she encourages her teammates both on- and off-court as one of the three senior captains. Phenomenal start to the season, Blue!
