A Remarkable Year, Thanks to You

The 2025-26 academic year was record-setting. We were honored to announce two landmark gifts in support of construction of our new academic center. The first was a $10 million gift—the largest in school history— from Trustee Kevin Hoben ’65, followed by a $5 million gift from Board Chair John Hazen White Jr. ’76. The impact of these gifts cannot be overstated, and we are deeply grateful to Kevin and John–and to many others who have made leadership commitments–for making this transformational project a reality.

At the same time, the Williston Northampton Fund had its most successful year ever, exceeding $3 million for the first time in school history, thanks to 2,000+ donors across our community. These essential unrestricted gifts enable Williston to continue to offer students the exceptional academic, residential, and extracurricular experiences that make Williston unique. This past year also saw continued growth of the endowment, especially in the areas of financial aid and faculty support, as well as new investments in our athletic, arts, and science programs.

The 2025-26 Impact Report celebrates these milestones and the thousands of people across our community who have made them possible. Thank you for being part of what makes Williston a place full of purpose, passion, and integrity.

A $3M Milestone

Every year, gifts to the Williston Northampton Fund  go to work immediately, directly supporting the people and programs that make a Williston Northampton School education transformative.

Together, more than 2,000 alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends helped raise more than $3M for the Williston Northampton Fund in 2025-2026—the largest annual fund total in our school’s history.

Founder’s Day Was a Big Success

On 2.11.26, Wildcats came together to show their support on our 11th Annual day of giving. With 1,253 donors and more than $660,000 raised, it was a day that showcased class spirit and the full heart of the Williston community.

Why they gave…

“Williston taught me to be confident, reach for the stars, listen to others, and celebrate all accomplishments, big and small.” —Mindy (Yearwood) Waugh ’91

“Thank you, Williston, for fostering my drive to learn and for providing me so many opportunities to grow.” —Emily Yeager ’17

Spotlight on the Endowment

As of June 30, Williston’s endowment was at an all-time high of $81.7 million. This growth has been fueled by a combination of philanthropic support and investment returns over the last decade. Comprised of nearly 300 different funds established through donor support, the endowment provides financial stability across all areas of the school’s mission.

A Legacy That Lives On Through the Endowment

Thanks to a bequest from Gordon E. Cadwgan ’63, Williston received a $1.5 million gift to establish the Gordon E. ’63 and Ruth Cadwgan Science Department Chair, a permanently endowed fund to support a distinguished faculty member serving as Chair of the Science Department.

5-Year Endowment Growth

Long Lasting Support: Gifts that are designated to the endowment are invested with the goal of permanent support for Williston. Only the income from the principal is spent, ensuring the gift continues to grow through investment returns over time and helping safeguard Williston’s financial stability.

Building Connections Between Wildcats

From Williston to the World

Williston’s 11,000+ alumni worldwide comprise a vibrant and diverse network of Wildcats that all have one thing in common: an experience rooted in purpose, passion, and integrity.

In 2025-26, nearly 2,700 alumni and parents in the U.S. and abroad attended 50 on- and off-campus events, including regional, virtual, and networking programs.

Women of Williston

This spring, the first-ever Women of Williston leadership summit brought together female students and alumnae for a day of conversation and mentoring in New York City. This inaugural program was so successful that it will be replicated in other locations and expanded over time.

Williston thrives because of you.

Every gift helps open doors and possibilities for Williston students – in the classroom, in the dorm room, on the athletic fields, and on the quad. To all our generous supporters, whether you are alumni, parents, or friends of the school, thank you.
