Health & Wellness Services
Bio:
I meet with students one-on-one and in groups in Health & Wellness Services and throughout campus. Along with my work as a clinician and counselor, I have been involved in theater, improv comedy, singing, and storytelling since middle school, both professionally and for the love of it. I also trained in Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy–a collaborative, body-based approach that helps folks relax into themselves, gain insight, and experience lasting change.
Education:
B.A. from Truman State University; M.S.W. from Smith College School for Social Work
Fun Fact:
I wrote a book-length memoir (still awaiting some revisions). Maybe one day I’ll work to publish it!
