Bio:
I am in my second year at Williston, where I teach eighth grade Physical Science as well as high school Earth & Environmental Studies. Out of the classroom, I am a dorm parent in Ford Hall, I coach pickle ball in the winter, and coach varsity ultimate frisbee in the spring.

Education:
B.A., Wesleyan University, Earth & Environmental Science

Academic Interest:
I spent a lot of time studying different forms of geology in my undergraduate research. I investigated how minerals formed and changed under the harsh atmosphere of Venus, studied the geochemistry of volcanic crater lakes, and I learned how to manage zooarchaeological collections (which does not consist of rocks, but you also find bones in the ground!). Having spent time working with a Massachusetts-based land trust, I also have a strong interest in environmental conservation.

Fun fact:
While growing up, my family and I took many cross country road trips to go hiking in National Parks. Because of this, I have been to 45 out of 50 states in the U.S. and hope to get to the others soon!
