Library Assistant

Bio:
I am a library assistant at Williston’s school library. Before joining Williston, I worked as a library assistant in two public libraries and interned as a paper conservation assistant while in college. I am originally from Plymouth, MA, and live with my fiancé, Anders, and our cat, Maomao.
Education:
B.A., Art History, Studio Art, and Government, Connecticut College; MLIS in progress, University of Rhode Island
Professional Interest:
I am interested in learning the ins and outs of a librarian’s day-to-day work in secondary schools and academic libraries, and am also interested in how an institution maintains its archives and special collections in the digital age.
Fun fact:
I am an oil painter and hold Connecticut College’s indoor and outdoor school records in pole vault!
