Bio:
As the director of the Sports Performance program, I have the opportunity to work with all of our student body as strength and conditioning is a critical component to a Williston education for our athletes, as well as our general student population. I have been a part of the sports performance program since its inception in 2013. As the director for 14 years, I have helped developed it from humble beginnings to a program that has helped our students reach their goals and aspirations, on and off the playing surface, and has educated our student body to live a life with health and wellbeing at the forefront of their minds. In addition to my role as the Director of Sports Performance and my work within the Athletic Department, I have been involved in many areas of campus life. As a class dean, dorm parent, and dorm head of Ford Hall, my mission stays the same: Educate the whole student on how to live a life that is full of Purpose, Passion, and Integrity.

Education:
B.S., Applied Exercise Science, with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning, Springfield College. I’m also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA.

Professional Interest:
I love trying to figure out how to improve the “soft skills” required for success on the field or court through our work in and out of the weight room. The true measure of success isn’t strictly dependent on speed, strength or athleticism. The best and most successful athletes and humans are the ones who have a true love of competition, are able to face and overcome adversity head on, and refuse to quit–skills often improved outside of the rack!

Fun fact:
I am an avid fly fisherman who loves the outdoors!
