Bio:
During my 40 years at Williston, I have taught pre-algebra, algebra standard, algebra honors and algebra 2 honors. I have served as a dorm head in John Wright and Conant House as well as being a dorm parent in French House, Mem East and EMV. I have been a middle school advisor, a 9th grade class dean, softball coach and on 4 reaccreditation committees. I am the proud parent of three sons, all Williston graduates.
Education:
B.S., Framingham State College; M.Ed, University of New Hampshire
Academic Interest:
I am always looking forward to finding ways to connect math to the real world. It is so relatable and relevant for middle schoolers to see how math can be connected to their everyday life. This summer, I used my math skills to update a room in our house, a way to bring my math understanding and use full circle.
Fun fact:
I have been a Red Sox season ticket holder since 1976 and played Little League in the first year it was open to girls.
