Bio:
Maggie Haas studied English and poetry at Skidmore College, graduating with honors in 2015. They received the Academy of American Poets College Prize in poetry their senior year. In 2019, Maggie’s poem “Sestina” was published in The Moth Magazine and was shortlisted for The Moth Poetry Prize, one of the biggest prizes in the world for a single unpublished poem. For the last three years, Maggie has worked in the Student Life Office at Millbrook School. Maggie lives in Logan House with their wife, Chelsea, and their beloved cat, Walt Whitman.

Fun fact:
Maggie starred in a music video for an all-female rock band at the age of five.
