Bio:
I will be teaching AP Environmental Science, Physics, and Environmental Chemistry at Williston. I’ll also be an Assistant coach for Boys Varsity Hockey and Girls Varsity Lacrosse and lives in Deerfield. Prior to Williston, I taught, coached, and engaged in residential life at the Eaglebrook School (MA) and Loomis Chaffee (CT). Prior to teaching, I received a B.A. from Williams College where I studied Geosciences and History and played on the hockey and lacrosse teams. I received an M.S. from Boston College in Earth and Environmental Sciences. I particularly enjoy learning about environmental history through place-based education and exploring the different relationships that humans have with nature.

Education:
B.A., Williams College, Geosciences and History; M.S., Boston College, Earth and Environmental Sciences

Academic Interest:
I have devoted much of my studies and professional career to the biophysical interactions between water, soils, and plants in salt marsh tidal rivers.

Fun fact:
I love geology, especially of the Connecticut River Valley and Western Massachusetts, and I’m slowly building up a collection of local rocks!
