Varsity
With its inception in 1972, girls soccer at Williston has an incredibly proud heritage. Fielding multiple levels of play, the coaches strive to provide each athlete with a rewarding and enjoyable experience. With a strong emphasis on individual and team improvement, the teams are known for both their competitiveness and their wonderful team camaraderie. The varsity team has traditionally ranked in the top third of the Western New England Prep School Soccer Association. Williston plays one of the most competitive schedules in the league facing Loomis Chaffee, Choate, Deerfield, Hotchkiss, and Taft as well as Class B opponents Berkshire, Pomfret, Suffield and Miss Porters. The team regularly qualifies to compete in the NEPSAC Class B tournament winning three championships since 2002. Many graduates have continued to play soccer at a high level after Williston. In the recent past, alumnae have played at: Amherst College, Boston College, College of Wooster, Dartmouth, Elmira, Fairfield, Michigan State, Mount Holyoke College, Providence, Quinnipiac, Salve Regina, Skidmore, University of Hartford, University of New Hampshire, Assumption and the U.S. Military Academy.
