Making it one of the longest tenured programs in New England, water polo has been an integral part of the Williston athletic program since 1983. The team competes with twelve NEPSAC schools forming a very competitive league covering all corners of New England. The regular season blends single games with a mix of tri and quad matches. A number of players are needed to develop the depth necessary to be competitive. The bedrock of the program is its focus on individual development and building a great team experience. The coaches pride themselves on introducing the game to novices and developing them into skilled team water polo players. As former novices themselves, the older players play a key role in supporting the development of the new players each year. The values of teamwork and sportsmanship are tantamount to the success of each season.
