Program Overview
Lacrosse at Williston has a proud and distinguished heritage dating back to its inception in 1958. Williston’s lacrosse program fields two levels of play seeking to provide a quality lacrosse experience for every boy in the program. The varsity team is a member of the Division 2 Western New England prep league. The team has had a great deal of recent success winning the league titles in both 2016 and 2017. The team plays a very competitive schedule to include league members Canterbury, Gunnery, and Suffield as well as traditional rivals Pomfret, Berkshire, Loomis Chaffee and Westminster. The season ends with a competitive four team tournament each spring. The program has access to excellent facilities with two turf fields for practices and games including a lit facility for night games. The program is proud of the fact that a number of graduates have gone on to compete at the NCAA Division I and III levels. Williston’s lacrosse program strives to be great representatives of Williston both on and off the field. The values of sportsmanship and teamwork are of utmost importance to the program.
