Admission to the Middle School is a thoughtful process designed to ensure that our incoming students are the best fit for the program and get a chance to really understand what Williston is all about.

To learn more about the Williston Middle School, please fill out our inquiry form, and we will mail you a viewbook and enter you into our system. Once you do this, you will receive instructions on how to create a username and password to access our Admission Portal, which will allow you to track your progress along the way.

Our deadline for Middle School interviews is January 31, however we still have opportunities to interview through the end of February. Please call (413) 529-3241 or email our admission team to schedule your interview.

An optional step in the Admission process (but well worth doing!) is to attend our Virtual Open House on November 14, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. A mix of personalized attention and expansive opportunity is what distinguishes the Williston Middle School experience. In this webinar, you will meet Director of the Middle School Jen Fulcher, Director of Middle School Admission Allison Marsland, current teachers and parents, and Middle School graduates. From their stories, you will learn about this exciting , engaging, and warm community.

We also invite you to join us for an In-Person Open House on Wednesday, December 6 from 9–11:30 a.m. at the Williston Middle School. Meet Director of the Middle School Jen Fulcher, Director of Middle School Admission Allison Marsland, current teachers and students, attend classes and hear from Middle School graduates over lunch. We invite both prospective students and parents to take a closer look at what makes the Williston Middle School the incredible place it is.

Our application deadline is January 15. You can apply to Williston using the Standard Application Online (SAO) . Candidates for Financial Aid must complete financial aid forms by January 15 (to read more about Williston’s Financial Aid process, click here). All applicants to Williston are required to complete the following requirements as part of their application:

• Student essays
• $50 application fee
• Standardized testing is waived for Fall 2023
• English teacher recommendation
• Math teacher recommendation
• Personal recommendation
• Current school report
• Parent statement or comments
• Interview
• Financial Aid Application (if applicable)

Decision letters are mailed from the Admission Office on March 10.

Williston’s enrollment deadline is April 10th. Decisions are made on a rolling admission basis for any student who finishes the application process after March 10. We encourage applicants who plan to apply after March 10 to call us directly at (413) 529-3241 regarding the availability of spaces for the coming academic year.
