Private Lessons

Many Williston students study a musical instrument or voice privately with teachers who are either faculty members or affiliates of the school. The school makes provision for instruction on piano, violin, viola, cello, voice, flute, clarinet, saxophone, brass instruments, bass, drums, and electric or acoustic guitar. Teachers for other instruments will be found as needed. Boarding students should not make arrangements to study away from campus; since the school day is variable and public transportation is unreliable, such lessons do not work out satisfactorily.

Parents requesting lessons will be put in touch with instructors in order to work out particulars. Lessons will be billed to the student's account at the end of each month. Our teachers are limited in their availability which means priority is given to boarding students as they fill out their schedule at the beginning of the year.
