Bio:
I was born on a bus in Idaho and lived the first half of my life in the Pacific Northwest. After college, my Ph.D. research was on understanding the quasicrystaline structures of Pd-Cd alloys. A desire to have a more obvious impact on people’s lives led me to teaching physics and chemistry where I have been happily guiding students to a better understanding of scientific thinking since 2005.
