In addition to teaching Spanish, I have also worked as a curriculum developer and language proficiency tester for various institutions such as the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, Smithsonian Institute, US Department of Defense, and US Department of State, among others. I also worked as a translator and interpreter for clients such as the Children’s Hospital of Washington, George Washington University Hospital, the National Education Association, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Institute for Global Communications.

Universidad de Córdoba, Spain (B.A. in Education); George Washington University (Legal Translation and Interpretation Certificate); USDA Graduate School (English-Spanish Translation Certificate)

Fun fact:
Before starting at Williston, I worked as a full-time artist for ten years. You might often see me collecting things from the ground around campus, hoping I will incorporate them into my art!
