IMPACT REPORT

July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020

1,507 donors gave back to Williston Northampton last fiscal year. Looking back, it’s easy to see why.

A Message from the Head of School

Just across Park Street from campus, a symbol of our school’s bright future is now taking shape. Two former faculty homes and French House have been removed to make way for a new state-of-the-art, energy-efficient dormitory that, beginning next fall, will house 40 students, along with four faculty families in attached homes. (You can watch the work progress via our live construction webcam at Williston.com.) It’s the first phase of a larger building project—unveiled in 2014 in the school’s Strategic and Campus Master Plans—that will transform this underused area between Main and Park Street into a green and welcoming residential quadrangle.

As functional as the new residential quad promises to be—allowing more students to live near the center of campus and providing community space for events and gatherings—the project is just as valuable for what  it represents. I see it as a tangible measure of the record-breaking generosity of the school community, and of the considerable support and leadership of the Board of Trustees, both of which are documented in this Annual Report.
