A cornerstone of the Williston Northampton School's 2014 Strategic and Campus Master Plans is expanding and enhancing the school's robust boarding school culture and vibrant residential community. In support of this, the school consistently works to construct and improve buildings and grounds that support students’ academic, social, artistic, and athletic growth. This section of the website showcases past, present, and future projects that make our campus the best it can be.
Founded in 1841, Williston is set in Western Massachusetts' Pioneer Valley, an area defined by its natural beauty, prestigious colleges and universities, and rich intellectual and cultural history. Our 125-acre campus is home to 420 students from grades 9-PG, who hail from more than 25 states and 26 countries.
CURRENT PROJECTS: PHASE ONE OF NEW RESIDENTIAL QUAD
Supported by donations from generous alumni, construction on the project officially began on September 9, 2017, when two former faculty homes and one former residence hall (French House) were taken down to make room for the construction of the new dormitory. The new dorm represents phase one of a plan to create a full Residential Quad between Main Street and Park Street in Easthampton. The new dormitory is scheduled to open in time for the start of school in September 2018.
