Sawyer Field

Sawyer Field is named for Joseph Sawyer, who served on the faculty for a record 53 years (1866-1919), and was Headmaster from 1896-1919. The facilities underwent renovation in 2005; the playing area was converted to a synthetic-turf field (A-Turf Premier-RS rubber and sand infill) and the addition of Berube Stadium introduced lights and permanent seating.

The field is used by the football program in the fall and the girls' lacrosse program in the spring. Field hockey, boys' lacrosse, and boys' and girls' soccer teams also play games on the field.
