Welcome to Williston's Office of Admission. Our office consists of admission officers and support staff members. Please feel free to contact us. We would be happy to answer any questions you might have about the school or arrange a campus tour and interview.
Chris Dietrich, Director of Admission and Financial Aid
Chris Dietrich rejoined the Admission Office in 2011, after leaving us in 2003. In between, he held positions at the Taft School and Loomis Chaffee. He lives on campus with his family and is the head boys' lacrosse coach.
Allison L. Marsland, Senior Associate Director of Admission
Allison Marsland has been a member of the Admission Office since 1992. She is dorm head of 194 Main Street (the 9th grade boys' dorm), where she lives with her partner, Maria Rello, and their three sons, Denison '13, Zachary, and Matteo.
Christa M. Talbot '98, Associate Director of Admission
Christa Talbot graduated from The Williston Northampton School in 1998 and went on to play Division I Women's Ice Hockey at Providence College. After a year coaching at Hamilton College, she returned to Williston to work as an Assistant Director of Admission. For the past four year, Christa has been in the Deans Office, as Assistant Dean of Students. She returned to the Admission Office this year. She continues to coach the girls ice hockey team, and she lives in Ford Hall.
Derek Cunha, Associate Director of Admission
Derek Cunha has been a member of the Admission Office since 2006. Derek coaches varsity boys' ice hockey and is a dorm parent in Logan House.
Mike Athas, Assistant Director of Admission
Mike Athas joined the Admission Office in 2009. He coaches boys' varsity basketball and boys' JV baseball. He lives in Conant House with his wife Taryn and daughter Olivia.
Kathie Morrison P'02, Admission Office Manager
Kathie Morrison has worked in the Admission Office since 1994. Her daughter, Emma, graduated from Williston in 2002.
Beth Dietz, Admission Assistant
Beth joined the Admission Office in 2010. She lives locally with her family.
Laura Ziomek P'18, Administrative Assistant
Laura, current parent of Cameron '18, is a graduate of Bay Path College and formerly worked in the admission office at Hampshire College.
Anne Cormier, Visit Coordinator
Ann, parent of Anna, Eliza, and Sarah, lives with her husband in South Hadley. She received her master's degree from St. John's College and her B.S. from Madison University.
