Diversity Conference 2011
The Williston Northampton School will cancel classes on Thursday, January 27, 2011, to hold its ninth annual Diversity Conference. This all-day event focuses on delivering diversity education to students, faculty, and administrators. This year's theme is
Be the Change You Wish To See In the World
Each year during the annual Diversity Conference, students, staff, parents, and alums share their experiences with diversity through workshops during the day-long conference. The workshops address many aspects of diversity, including age, ability, race, gender, political affiliation, language, religion, socio-economic status, family composition, ethnicity, sexual orientation, adoption, and more.
If you are interested in participating in the Diversity Conference by presenting a workshop, please fill out the form below. You don’t need a complete outline of your presentation at the moment; just send a “yes” and a general topic. If you are interested but do not have a topic idea, please let us know. We would love to help you develop ideas or offer suggestions. Thank you!
It is possible to come to present, participate, or both. Attending the Diversity Conference is a great way to reconnect with or to stay connected to the Williston Northampton community. We all have something to offer!
