1841 Society

The 1841 Society, named for the year Williston Academy was founded, honors those donors of $1,841 or more to the school’s Annual Fund. Membership in any of the giving societies listed below is based on cash contributions and matching gifts (not pledges) to the school from July 1–June 30 of the current fiscal year.

Many members of our community choose to make leadership gifts to the 1841 Society. For alumni more than 10 years out and other donors, 1841 Society gift levels begin at $1,841. For younger alumni, options begin at $100.

The 1841 Society ensures that today’s students experience the fullest range of intellectual, athletic, and artistic opportunities.

If you are considering an increase in your Annual Fund gift or will be an 1841 Society donor for the first time, please know how important your support is to the school. Historically, leadership donors contribute two-thirds or more of the Annual Fund total overall.

Young Alumni Leaders—Wildcat Club
Alumni 6-10 years out or more:  $500
Students and alumni five years out and younger: $100 or more
