Merit Scholar Legacy Program
The Williston community is often compared to a family. And in fact, our alumni body acts that way—alumni remain a vital foundation in terms of philanthropy, but they also serve as a network that reaches out to connect new families to Williston. In doing so, alumni serve to strengthen the school in every sense.
We are particularly excited when the children and grandchildren of Williston alumni join our community. In recent years, we have seen an increase in the number of alumni children and grandchildren who have enrolled at the school, making the connections on our campus and across our alumni body stronger across generations. This year, 41 students—or eight percent-- of our students have parents or grandparents who attended Williston Academy, Northampton School for Girls and Williston Northampton, a testament to the bonds the school has with its alumni.
Williston is proud to further recognize the ties between alumni and the institution through a partnership of the Admission and Alumni Relations Offices. Our Merit Scholar Legacy Program helps to increase the enrollment of qualified applicants with a Williston connection. The Admission Office is pleased to be able to offer merit-based scholarships to legacy applicants.
