Employment Opportunities at Williston

Recognized as an Exemplary Secondary School by the United States Department of Education, The Williston Northampton School has been cited for its excellence in many areas, including "exemplary teaching, wide range of academic offerings, safe and attractive campus."

Williston is committed to the professional growth of faculty and to the development of a diverse, inclusive community. The school has been described as "warm, friendly, supportive and caring, as well as purposeful and challenging ... a model boarding school."

The Williston Northampton School combines the academic traditions of Williston Academy, founded in 1841, and Northampton School for Girls, established in 1924. The merger of these two schools in 1971 resulted in a 125-acre independent, coeducational boarding school with 550 boarding and day students including 80 day students in a 7th and 8th grade Middle School.

Students come to Williston from far and wide, from nearby neighborhoods and from various countries around the world. Our graduates go on to pursue a broad range of disciplines at the nation's finest colleges and universities.
