The Williston Northampton School combines the academic traditions of Williston Academy, founded in 1841, and Northampton School for Girls, established in 1924. The merger of these two schools in 1971 resulted in a 125-acre independent, coeducational boarding school with 550 boarding and day students including 80 day students in a 7th and 8th grade Middle School.
Students come to Williston from far and wide, from nearby neighborhoods and from various countries around the world. Our graduates go on to pursue a broad range of disciplines at the nation's finest colleges and universities.

Security Officers - Part-time, on-call basis, up to 20 hours weekly, as determined by the needs of the department to cover shifts for full-time officers, and/or to provide additional coverage for special events, etc. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: provide assistance to students, staff and visitors in a courteous and professional manner; complete security and incident reports and ensures accuracy of documentation; patrol the campus to observe and identify potential safety and security risks; perform building security checks; respond to all emergency situations arising on campus ranging from medical emergencies, fire alarms and other crisis situations.
Candidates should have some law enforcement or security-related experience and MA Municipal Police Training Committee training is a plus. Must have the following: flexibility and willingness to cover a variety of shifts as needed (days, nights, weekends and holidays); a valid driver’s license; excellent, written, verbal, computer and organizational skills; CPR/AED certification or the willingness to obtain certification upon hire; ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, etc. for extended periods of time. Health Services Clinical Assistant
The Williston Northampton School has a part-time academic year position within the School’s Health and Wellness Department. The Health Services Clinical Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the Health Services Staff and our students.
This individual will serve as the first point of contact for students visiting the Center. Will also be responsible for the following: facilitate care as needed; schedule appointments with school and local health care providers, maintain up to date and accurate confidential medical records, insurance information, and medical database; maintain student visit and transportation logs; general correspondence. The successful candidate should have three year’s similar experience preferably in an educational setting; must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; Medical Office experience, CMA, RMA, EMT/EMS, LPN, preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, insurances and electronic medical records a plus; CPR/AED certification required within 60 days of hire or willingness to obtain; must possess excellent computer and keyboarding skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite i.e., Word and Excel; must be committed, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasking; must be able to work independently as well as part of a team; must have a valid driver’s license; must be able to successfully complete a CORI, SORI and background check.

The Williston Northampton School has immediate openings for (2) sanitation assistants in our Dining Services Department:
Part-time, 30 hrs./wk. 42 wks./yr. M-F 8AM - 2:30PM This position is eligible for retirement plan participation and pro-rated sick, personal, vacation and holiday time. There is no medical benefit available with this position.
Part-time, 22.5 hrs./wk. 42 wks./yr. Sunday-Thursday, 4PM-9PM, there are no benefits available with this position.
For both positions responsibilities include: cleanliness and sanitation in both the dining room and kitchen areas; operate dish machine and utilize it to clean all dishes, pots, pans and utensils; mopping, sweeping, cleaning and wiping tables and work benches; restocking dining room with clean dishes, glassware, flatware; return clean pots and pans to kitchen preparation area; empty trash and garbage. Other duties as needed or assigned.
The qualified candidate should have prior experience in institutional food service. Must be capable of long term standing, walking, lifting, stooping and bending and be able to work with exposure to heat and cold. Must be able to pass state mandated CORI and SORI, as well as a background check.
