Rt. 10 south through Westfield and Southwick into Simsbury. At big white church at rotary turn right onto West St. Go straight until you reach Rt. 167 (Bushy Hill Pond), go left. School is 1 miles ahead on this road.
Three routes from New York:
A) Saw Mill River Parkway or Hutchinson River Parkway and I-684 north to I-84; east on I-84 to Exit 39 (Farmington, Route 4); west on Route 4 to Farmington center; north on Route 10-202; west on U.S. 44 through Avon; north on Route 167 for 3.1 miles to Ethel Walker School. (3 hrs.)
B) I-95 or Merritt Parkway to Route 8; north on Route 8 to Torrington; east on U.S. 202 to U.S. 44; east on U.S. 44 through Canton to Route 167; north on Route 167 for 3.1 miles to the school. (3 hrs.)
C) I-95 or Merritt Parkway to I-91 north; north on I-91 to Hartford; west on I-84 to Exit 39 (Farmington, Route 4); west on Route 4 to Farmington center; north on Route 10-202 to U.S. 44; west on U.S. 44 through Avon to Route 167; north on Route 167 for 3.1 miles to the school. (3 hrs.)

From Downtown Hartford:
Asylum Street to Scarborough Street; right on Scarborough Street to U.S. 44 (Albany Avenue); left on U.S. 44 to Bloomfield Avenue (Route 189 & 185 by Child & Family Village); right on Bloomfield Avenue to traffic light beyond University of Hartford; bear left at light on Route 185; follow Route 185 to its end at Route 10-202; right on Route 10-202 to Route 167; left on Route 167 for 2.5 miles to the school.
