Phillips Stevens Chapel
Built in 1965, the Phillips Stevens Chapel serves as Williston's all-school meeting place.
The entire Upper School community gathers in the chapel on Tuesday
mornings for assemblies. These are usually comprised of
school announcements, however we occasionally host various people or
organizations who speak to the community on a specific topic.
Traditional school events such as Convocation, Baccalaureate, and
holiday vespers are also held in the chapel.
Language classrooms are located downstairs. Williston offers instruction in these languages from the introduction level to Advanced Placement.
Since Williston does not have a religious affiliation, there are no
required weekly chapel services. If students are interested in
attending religious services, there are various places of worship
within easy travel distance of the campus. School chaplain The Reverend Dr. Daphne Burt can help facilitate this.
