The Williston Northampton Alumni Association is populated by the entire alumni body at any one time. The affairs of the association are managed and presided over by the Alumni Council, and each alumnus or alumna is represented by the council and its various members. The officers of the council also act as officers of the association.
The council meets at length every fall, winter, and spring to deliberate and discuss the issues before it, and those brought to it. Early every summer, at Reunion, the council members gather again to meet briefly, relax, and connect with many of their own classmates and fellow alumni whom they represent.
Between meetings, the council works hard to be a presence in the various alumni activities which take place throughout the year. Regional alumni receptions, on-campus alumni games, the Ward Medal presentation, Senior Dinner, and finally Reunion all have the benefit of being either planned or supported by this important group of individuals - the council impact and presence at such events is palpable.
But the council is not a secret society for like-thinkers only. We welcome all who wish to be a part. If you would like to further the successes of the school, help guide its future, work closely with both alumni and current students, and be a leader in the Williston Northampton community, then we welcome and need your involvement.
And if council membership and commitment is unrealistic at this time, whether you are an "Academy," "Hamp," or Williston Northampton alum, we invite your thoughts and suggestions on your alumni experience and how we can help improve it for you and your former classmates.
If you would like to learn more about the Alumni Council, or speak to someone involved, please contact Alumni Council President Robin Dirats '82 or Director of Alumni Relations Melanie Sage.
We look forward to hearing from you and serving you well in the coming year.
