Our Facilities
Williston’s athletic facilities have long been recognized amongst the finest of its kind in New England. With the state of the art Sabina Cain Family Athletic Center as its hub, Williston’s student athletes enjoy a tremendous opportunity to develop and compete in an array of first rate facilities that are the home to over 30 sports.
The Sabina Cain Family Athletic Center
Because this is an exceptional facility, Williston has hosted a number of New England championships in multiple sports over the years. Its facilities include basketball courts, international squash courts, a 6 lane swimming pool, a state of the art fitness center and a wrestling room. Among its staff are a full-time strength coach and two certified athletic trainers.
Babcock Pool
The six-lane Wilmot S. Babcock pool is a tremendous facility with a rich aquatics history. Williston is one of only a handful of schools in New England to use its pool all three seasons fielding boys and girls water polo and a highly competitive swim program.
Galbraith Fields
Set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of Mt. Tom, the school’s main outdoor athletic complex is both picturesque and abundant in its array of top flight facilities. Among these facilities are a new synthetic turf field (2018), one of the finest all-weather eight-lane track facilities in New England, a new cross-country course (2017), a tennis facility with ten courts (2021), two regulation baseball diamonds, one regulation softball diamond, batting cages and bullpens, and multiple fields for field hockey, soccer, ultimate, and lacrosse.
Sawyer Field at Berube Stadium
Nestled in the middle of our bucolic campus, Berube Stadium at Sawyer Field has long been regarded as the most beautiful setting for a prep school game in New England. This second synthetic turf field (2021) with lights is host to a number of night games for football, soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey.
Lossone Rink
The school’s fully enclosed rink combines the best features of a classic wooden arched roof with state-of-the-art boards, glass and locker room facilities. It is an outstanding prep school venue in which to play or watch a boys or girls hockey game.
